THREAT FROM UNDEAD PLAGUE REVEALED

Count Hellstromm, the slayer of the vampire Count Kainen, has revealed his belief that Kainen was plotting to release a devastating plague on Bereny - a plague which turns its victims into undead.

In a letter published in a recent issue of ‘On Eagles Wings’, the in-house publication of the Bereny Eagle Elite Fighters, Hellstromm reveals that he has discovered that Kainen was in alliance with Lord Lexor, and that shortly before meeting his end, Kainen developed what he described as the ‘Final Solution’ - a virulent plague that turns the living into undead. According to Hellstromm, Kainen was certain that if it was ever released it could not be stopped.

“It also appears that he had selected his first victim of this disease,” Hellstromm continued, “but I do not know if he had infected them with it. I am now searching for this victim as we cannot allow them to leave this castle. Whilst the disease is within these castle walls we should be able to contain it but if it gets beyond the walls into the wilderness then I fear all is lost.“

Hellstromm, who is a lieutenant in BEEF and was one of the first vampires to be granted official Crown protection, called on the Crown to immediately send forces to quarantine the castle. As he is himself already undead, he presumably has little to fear from the plague, but it may be that such a quarantine would doom those others currently present in the castle to death, or a fate worse than death..
