EAGLES DEPUTY KILLED SEEKING ROUTE TO DERWENT

Major Cibelle Lockshear, deputy commander of the Bereny Eagle Elite Fighters, has been killed while exploring in the Torlian Catacombs.
According to reports that have reached the Bugle, the major was leading a BEEF unit on the fourth level of the Torlian Catacombs when she was attacked by a force of Shellian warriors, and struck down before any of her colleagues could come to her aid.
Unconfirmed rumours are that BEEF have been searching for connections between the
Torlian Catacombs and the tunnels rumoured to run under the Spirit Mountains from
Bereny to Derwent. Whether this mission will be able to continue without the Major’s
leadership is unknown -
Major Lockshear, a ranger by training, has held the deputy command position in BEEF for some years. She leaves behind a daughter, Cecily, whose father is unknown.
