‘SHADOW OF DEATH’ CLAIMS ANOTHER BARON

The Shadow of Death that hangs over the Castle Thortun Estate in Homeward has struck again. Only days after arriving at Castle Thortun its new Baron, Baron Turniki, has been struck down, just as his predecessor was.
Like the previous master of Castle Thortun, Baron Turneki is feared to have fallen victim to the Bimble, the sinister fairytale creature which is haunting the estate, and whose evil spell has cursed its inhabitants.
Troops from Swinderlog dungeon are reported to have been mobilised to go to the aid of the beleaguered estate, but it is uncertain whether they will have any power to defeat such a supernatural enemy. There is more confidence that Bereny’s druids, to whom the Baron appealed for aid before his death, may be able to call upon Shanna’s power to defeat evil. But many fear that their assistance will come too late to save the people of the estate. “We’re doomed, doomed, I tell ye, all doomed!” one concerned citizen told the Bugle.
